Zadie Smith

Zadie Smith published her debut White Teeth to acclaim while still a Cambridge student, becoming, at 24, one of the defining voices of multicultural Britain. A novelist and essayist known for her wit and formal range, she has followed it with On Beauty, NW, and Swing Time, and teaches creative writing at New York University.
