About

Books give you ideas. BookYol gives you a path.

BookYol turns the best ideas from books into daily learning journeys you can finish in minutes — starting in Turkey, in Turkish and English.

Why it exists

People want to get better at something — money, focus, negotiation, leading a team — and they buy the books. Most of the books stay half-read, and the ones that are finished are forgotten by spring. Summary apps made the books shorter, and shortening is now something any machine can do.

The question that stayed open is the one that matters: what should I learn next, and what do I do with it tomorrow? BookYol exists to answer that. Not a library to browse but a road to ride: one goal, the six books that cover it, twelve Stations in the right order, one action a day, and a Memory that keeps what you learned.

It is built for the person who has the ambition and not the afternoon. Five minutes is the whole ask.

How a road is made

Books chosen for the goal, not the bestseller list

Each Yol starts from a destination and picks the six books that actually get someone there. A book can serve several roads; a road never has a book that is only there to be famous.

Written, not extracted

Every Station is written by us from the ideas in the source book, in our own words, with the book and its author named on the page. We do not reproduce the book's text. When a Station changes something for you, buy the book — the page tells you which one.

Turkish scenes, Turkish register

The examples happen in Istanbul, Bursa, Gaziantep — a nurse in Ankara, a designer in Kadıköy — because advice translated from somewhere else stays abstract. Public pages use formal Turkish; the Stations speak to you directly.

Reviewed before it is called finished

Every page carries an editorial status. Nothing is marked published until a native Turkish editor has read it. Quotes are shown as unverified until they have been checked against the book, and a quote is never credited to someone who did not say it.

Honest about what it is not

A Yol is education, not advice. The money road teaches principles from six books and leaves the choice of accounts, funds and taxes to you and, where needed, to a licensed adviser. The same honesty applies everywhere: the pages say who a book is not for.

Where we are

BookYol launched in 2026 with five roads — habits, negotiation, focus, influence, founder thinking — and the money road followed. Every road has its public pages: the books, the authors, the concepts, the goal it serves. The library grows one road at a time, and each road is finished before the next is started.

The app is a web app that works on any phone, with an account that carries your progress across devices. It is priced as one subscription with a free road and cancel-anytime, because a road you are forced to stay on is not a road.
