Refunds & Cancellation
Last updated: September 5, 2026
BookYol Premium is a subscription you can leave at any time. This page says exactly what happens to your money and your access when you do. It is written in plain language; a counsel-reviewed version will replace it before the paid launch.
1. Cancelling
Open your profile in the app (Me → Manage subscription). Stripe opens your billing page, where cancelling is one click. Your Premium access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. Nothing you learned is lost: progress, streak, Memory and saved Insights stay on your account on the free plan (the free plan keeps ten saved Insights).
2. Your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you subscribe and change your mind within 14 days of the first payment, write to us from the contact page and we refund that payment in full — no reason needed. This is the statutory right of withdrawal under Turkish consumer law and EU distance-selling rules, and we honour it for every customer, wherever you are.
3. After 14 days
Monthly plans are not refunded for a partial month; cancel and the plan simply ends at the period's close. Annual plans: if you cancel within the first 30 days we refund the unused months in full on request; after that, refunds are at our discretion, and we are reasonable — if BookYol did not work for you, tell us.
4. If something went wrong on our side
A double charge, a subscription that did not unlock, a road that was unavailable for days — write to us and we refund or credit the affected period, always. If we ever retire a paid feature you have paid for, we refund the unused period without being asked.
5. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Prices include VAT/KDV; the refund includes it too.
6. Student and team plans
The same rules apply. Team subscriptions are refunded to the paying organisation; seats that were never activated are refunded in full at any time within the first 60 days.
7. Contact
Everything on this page starts with one message: bookyol.com/contact. Include the email on your BookYol account so we can find the payment.
