The story and the impact

Brian Tracy is a Canadian-American speaker and author on sales, management and personal effectiveness who founded Brian Tracy International in the 1980s and has spent decades giving seminars to companies and individuals.

Eat That Frog!, published in 2001 and updated since, took the most repeated idea from his seminars, do the most important task first, and made it a short book of twenty-one rules. It became one of the best-selling productivity books of its era and has been translated into more than forty languages, Turkish among them.

He has written dozens of other books, including Goals! and The Psychology of Selling, and continues to speak and publish.

The signature

Tracy writes in rules, numbered and repeated, in a salesman's confident register. His signature is the frog itself: the image that turns a whole discipline of prioritisation into one decision about what to do first.
