Mindset: From Poster Slogan to Weekly Practice
Someone who catches the fixed voice as it speaks, picks the harder task on purpose, and reads setbacks and criticism as information about the work, not a verdict on you.
Dweck's idea has been turned into a slogan, and later studies show simple mindset messages have modest effects. So we skip the posters and practise four moves on your real week: notice the trigger, pick the stretch, reread the setback, praise the strategy. Your fixed voice won't vanish. Dweck says it doesn't for anyone. But you'll learn to hear it and answer back.

Do the thing you'd normally dodge
Take on one real task you would usually avoid because you might look bad at it. Before you start, write down exactly what the fixed voice said. Afterwards, note what actually happened.

Ask for criticism, then close the loop
Ask someone for specific criticism on a piece of your work. Make one change based on it, then tell them what you changed. That last step is what turns feedback into a habit.

Four weeks with your growth plan
Run your when-where-how growth plan for four weeks, logging each trigger you caught and what you did instead. Missed days and returns of the fixed voice go in the log too. They're data, not failure.
